This is a once in a lifetime opportunity for Peterborough. We want to reclaim this important part of the City’s Riverside so that it once more becomes a vibrant and exciting place where people choose to go and where a range of activity can take place at any time of the year and any time of the day.
We have therefore prepared a draft ‘Vision’ for the Embankment which looks to capture the scale of this ambition creating a place that will be part of the heartbeat of Peterborough, a place that everyone can enjoy. This vision is underpinned by four key principles/ambitions for the Masterplan:

Secure a High Quality Green Blue Environment
